In November 2007, HazRes received the Business with Growth Potential Award in the 2007 Ceredigion Business Awards against stiff competition from other Ceredigion companies. The 2007 Ceredigion Business Awards evening was held in the Pafiliwn Bont, Ponthrydfendigaid. Dr. Hallgarth received the award for HazRes on the evening from Steve Elias from Finance Wales, the award sponsor.

Commenting on receiving the awarding, Dr. Hallgarth said “This is the second time HazRes has been entered into the awards. However, this is the first time HazRes has been entered into this particular award category and we are very pleased to win this prestigious award”.
