At the Technium Awarded Dinner 2008, HazRes won the Exploiting Overseas Marketing Award. The Technium Annual Awards Dinner recognised the success of Technium companies and celebrated the early achievements of new companies who competed for the Technium Challenge UK & International Competitions.

The awards were presented by Gareth Hall, Director of the Department for the Economy & Transport, Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) and BBC Wales presenter Jamie Owen who entertained the 200 guests with his after dinner speech. The Technium Award for Exploiting Overseas Marketing was received by HazRes’ Managing Director (MD).

Commenting on receiving the award, Dr. Hallgarth said “I was obviously surprised when our name was called out, but HazRes over the last 12 months has conducted a significant amount of overseas export work as a percentage of our turnover in places like the US, Europe and the Middle East. This award is for the whole HazRes team and I am indebted to their efforts in making our overseas exports a great success”
